CVE-2025-7195 | 1 Redhat | 12 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Apicurio Registry and 9 more | 2025-09-23 | 5.2 Medium |
Early versions of Operator-SDK provided an insecure method to allow operator containers to run in environments that used a random UID. Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 provided a script, user_setup, which modifies the permissions of the /etc/passwd file to 664 during build time. Developers who used Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 to scaffold their operator may still be impacted by this if the insecure user_setup script is still being used to build new container images. In affected images, the /etc/passwd file is created during build time with group-writable permissions and a group ownership of root (gid=0). An attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, may be able to leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container.
CVE-2022-25883 | 2 Npmjs, Redhat | 10 Semver, Acm, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2025-09-23 | 5.3 Medium |
Versions of the package semver before 7.5.2 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) via the function new Range, when untrusted user data is provided as a range.
CVE-2024-3727 | 1 Redhat | 18 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ansible Automation Platform and 15 more | 2025-09-09 | 8.3 High |
A flaw was found in the github.com/containers/image library. This flaw allows attackers to trigger unexpected authenticated registry accesses on behalf of a victim user, causing resource exhaustion, local path traversal, and other attacks.
CVE-2024-12401 | 1 Redhat | 8 Cert Manager, Connectivity Link, Cryostat and 5 more | 2025-09-02 | 4.4 Medium |
A flaw was found in the cert-manager package. This flaw allows an attacker who can modify PEM data that the cert-manager reads, for example, in a Secret resource, to use large amounts of CPU in the cert-manager controller pod to effectively create a denial-of-service (DoS) vector for the cert-manager in the cluster.
CVE-2023-26136 | 2 Redhat, Salesforce | 8 Acm, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Logging and 5 more | 2025-08-27 | 6.5 Medium |
Versions of the package tough-cookie before 4.1.3 are vulnerable to Prototype Pollution due to improper handling of Cookies when using CookieJar in rejectPublicSuffixes=false mode. This issue arises from the manner in which the objects are initialized.
CVE-2025-2241 | 1 Redhat | 2 Acm, Multicluster Engine | 2025-08-27 | 8.2 High |
A flaw was found in Hive, a component of Multicluster Engine (MCE) and Advanced Cluster Management (ACM). This vulnerability causes VCenter credentials to be exposed in the ClusterProvision object after provisioning a VSphere cluster. Users with read access to ClusterProvision objects can extract sensitive credentials even if they do not have direct access to Kubernetes Secrets. This issue can lead to unauthorized VCenter access, cluster management, and privilege escalation.
CVE-2024-4068 | 3 Jonschlinkert, Micromatch, Redhat | 8 Braces, Braces, Acm and 5 more | 2025-08-04 | 7.5 High |
The NPM package `braces`, versions prior to 3.0.3, fails to limit the number of characters it can handle, which could lead to Memory Exhaustion. In `lib/parse.js,` if a malicious user sends "imbalanced braces" as input, the parsing will enter a loop, which will cause the program to start allocating heap memory without freeing it at any moment of the loop. Eventually, the JavaScript heap limit is reached, and the program will crash.
CVE-2023-44487 | 32 Akka, Amazon, Apache and 29 more | 367 Http Server, Opensearch Data Prepper, Apisix and 364 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.5 High |
The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
CVE-2024-42459 | 3 Elliptic Project, Indutny, Redhat | 5 Elliptic, Elliptic, Acm and 2 more | 2025-06-20 | 5.3 Medium |
In the Elliptic package 6.5.6 for Node.js, EDDSA signature malleability occurs because there is a missing signature length check, and thus zero-valued bytes can be removed or appended.
CVE-2024-42460 | 3 Elliptic Project, Indutny, Redhat | 5 Elliptic, Elliptic, Acm and 2 more | 2025-06-20 | 5.3 Medium |
In the Elliptic package 6.5.6 for Node.js, ECDSA signature malleability occurs because there is a missing check for whether the leading bit of r and s is zero.
CVE-2023-26159 | 2 Follow-redirects, Redhat | 14 Follow Redirects, Acm, Cluster Observability Operator and 11 more | 2025-06-17 | 7.3 High |
Versions of the package follow-redirects before 1.15.4 are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation due to the improper handling of URLs by the url.parse() function. When new URL() throws an error, it can be manipulated to misinterpret the hostname. An attacker could exploit this weakness to redirect traffic to a malicious site, potentially leading to information disclosure, phishing attacks, or other security breaches.
CVE-2025-22868 | 2 Go, Redhat | 19 Jws, Acm, Advanced Cluster Security and 16 more | 2025-05-01 | 7.5 High |
An attacker can pass a malicious malformed token which causes unexpected memory to be consumed during parsing.
CVE-2024-21501 | 3 Apostrophecms, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 5 Sanitize-html, Fedora, Acm and 2 more | 2025-04-25 | 5.3 Medium |
Versions of the package sanitize-html before 2.12.1 are vulnerable to Information Exposure when used on the backend and with the style attribute allowed, allowing enumeration of files in the system (including project dependencies). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gather details about the file system structure and dependencies of the targeted server.
CVE-2022-31129 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Momentjs and 1 more | 17 Debian Linux, Fedora, Moment and 14 more | 2025-04-22 | 7.5 High |
moment is a JavaScript date library for parsing, validating, manipulating, and formatting dates. Affected versions of moment were found to use an inefficient parsing algorithm. Specifically using string-to-date parsing in moment (more specifically rfc2822 parsing, which is tried by default) has quadratic (N^2) complexity on specific inputs. Users may notice a noticeable slowdown is observed with inputs above 10k characters. Users who pass user-provided strings without sanity length checks to moment constructor are vulnerable to (Re)DoS attacks. The problem is patched in 2.29.4, the patch can be applied to all affected versions with minimal tweaking. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should consider limiting date lengths accepted from user input.
CVE-2022-36067 | 2 Redhat, Vm2 Project | 3 Acm, Multicluster Engine, Vm2 | 2025-04-22 | 10 Critical |
vm2 is a sandbox that can run untrusted code with whitelisted Node's built-in modules. In versions prior to version 3.9.11, a threat actor can bypass the sandbox protections to gain remote code execution rights on the host running the sandbox. This vulnerability was patched in the release of version 3.9.11 of vm2. There are no known workarounds.
CVE-2025-30204 | 1 Redhat | 19 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Cryostat and 16 more | 2025-04-10 | 7.5 High |
golang-jwt is a Go implementation of JSON Web Tokens. Starting in version 3.2.0 and prior to versions 5.2.2 and 4.5.2, the function parse.ParseUnverified splits (via a call to strings.Split) its argument (which is untrusted data) on periods. As a result, in the face of a malicious request whose Authorization header consists of Bearer followed by many period characters, a call to that function incurs allocations to the tune of O(n) bytes (where n stands for the length of the function's argument), with a constant factor of about 16. This issue is fixed in 5.2.2 and 4.5.2.
CVE-2022-41721 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 5 H2c, Acm, Migration Toolkit Applications and 2 more | 2025-04-04 | 7.5 High |
A request smuggling attack is possible when using MaxBytesHandler. When using MaxBytesHandler, the body of an HTTP request is not fully consumed. When the server attempts to read HTTP2 frames from the connection, it will instead be reading the body of the HTTP request, which could be attacker-manipulated to represent arbitrary HTTP2 requests.
CVE-2022-25881 | 2 Http-cache-semantics Project, Redhat | 8 Http-cache-semantics, Acm, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-03-27 | 5.3 Medium |
This affects versions of the package http-cache-semantics before 4.1.1. The issue can be exploited via malicious request header values sent to a server, when that server reads the cache policy from the request using this library.
CVE-2024-48949 | 2 Indutny, Redhat | 7 Elliptic, Acm, Multicluster Engine and 4 more | 2025-03-25 | 9.1 Critical |
The verify function in lib/elliptic/eddsa/index.js in the Elliptic package before 6.5.6 for Node.js omits "sig.S().gte(sig.eddsa.curve.n) || sig.S().isNeg()" validation.
CVE-2024-45338 | 1 Redhat | 27 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ceph Storage and 24 more | 2025-02-21 | 5.3 Medium |
An attacker can craft an input to the Parse functions that would be processed non-linearly with respect to its length, resulting in extremely slow parsing. This could cause a denial of service. |
