CVE-2023-2953 | 4 Apple, Netapp, Openldap and 1 more | 17 Macos, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 14 more | 2025-01-10 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability was found in openldap. This security flaw causes a null pointer dereference in ber_memalloc_x() function.
CVE-2023-38403 | 7 Apple, Debian, Es and 4 more | 12 Macos, Debian Linux, Iperf3 and 9 more | 2024-11-27 | 7.5 High |
iperf3 before 3.14 allows peers to cause an integer overflow and heap corruption via a crafted length field.
CVE-2024-21985 | 1 Netapp | 1 Clustered Data Ontap | 2024-11-21 | 7.6 High |
ONTAP 9 versions prior to 9.9.1P18, 9.10.1P16, 9.11.1P13, 9.12.1P10 and 9.13.1P4 are susceptible to a vulnerability which could allow an authenticated user with multiple remote accounts with differing roles to perform actions via REST API beyond their intended privilege. Possible actions include viewing limited configuration details and metrics or modifying limited settings, some of which could result in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2024-21982 | 1 Netapp | 1 Clustered Data Ontap | 2024-11-21 | 4.8 Medium |
ONTAP versions 9.4 and higher are susceptible to a vulnerability which when successfully exploited could lead to disclosure of sensitive information to unprivileged attackers when the object-store profiler command is being run by an administrative user.
CVE-2023-36054 | 4 Debian, Mit, Netapp and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Kerberos 5, Active Iq Unified Manager and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
lib/kadm5/kadm_rpc_xdr.c in MIT Kerberos 5 (aka krb5) before 1.20.2 and 1.21.x before 1.21.1 frees an uninitialized pointer. A remote authenticated user can trigger a kadmind crash. This occurs because _xdr_kadm5_principal_ent_rec does not validate the relationship between n_key_data and the key_data array count.
CVE-2023-28322 | 5 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more | 17 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.7 Low |
An information disclosure vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 when doing HTTP(S) transfers, libcurl might erroneously use the read callback (`CURLOPT_READFUNCTION`) to ask for data to send, even when the `CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS` option has been set, if the same handle previously wasused to issue a `PUT` request which used that callback. This flaw may surprise the application and cause it to misbehave and either send off the wrong data or use memory after free or similar in the second transfer. The problem exists in the logic for a reused handle when it is (expected to be) changed from a PUT to a POST.
CVE-2023-27538 | 7 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in libcurl prior to v8.0.0 where it reuses a previously established SSH connection despite the fact that an SSH option was modified, which should have prevented reuse. libcurl maintains a pool of previously used connections to reuse them for subsequent transfers if the configurations match. However, two SSH settings were omitted from the configuration check, allowing them to match easily, potentially leading to the reuse of an inappropriate connection.
CVE-2023-27537 | 4 Broadcom, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more | 13 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Libcurl, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
A double free vulnerability exists in libcurl <8.0.0 when sharing HSTS data between separate "handles". This sharing was introduced without considerations for do this sharing across separate threads but there was no indication of this fact in the documentation. Due to missing mutexes or thread locks, two threads sharing the same HSTS data could end up doing a double-free or use-after-free.
CVE-2023-27533 | 5 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Netapp and 2 more | 15 Fedora, Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
A vulnerability in input validation exists in curl <8.0 during communication using the TELNET protocol may allow an attacker to pass on maliciously crafted user name and "telnet options" during server negotiation. The lack of proper input scrubbing allows an attacker to send content or perform option negotiation without the application's intent. This vulnerability could be exploited if an application allows user input, thereby enabling attackers to execute arbitrary code on the system.
CVE-2023-27314 | 1 Netapp | 1 Clustered Data Ontap | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
ONTAP 9 versions prior to 9.8P19, 9.9.1P16, 9.10.1P12, 9.11.1P8, 9.12.1P2 and 9.13.1 are susceptible to a vulnerability which could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a crash of the HTTP service.
CVE-2023-23915 | 4 Haxx, Netapp, Redhat and 1 more | 13 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
A cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability exists in curl <v7.88.0 that could cause HSTS functionality to behave incorrectly when multiple URLs are requested in parallel. Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS instead of using an insecure clear-text HTTP step even when HTTP is provided in the URL. This HSTS mechanism would however surprisingly fail when multiple transfers are done in parallel as the HSTS cache file gets overwritten by the most recentlycompleted transfer. A later HTTP-only transfer to the earlier host name would then *not* get upgraded properly to HSTS.
CVE-2022-35260 | 4 Apple, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more | 12 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
curl can be told to parse a `.netrc` file for credentials. If that file endsin a line with 4095 consecutive non-white space letters and no newline, curlwould first read past the end of the stack-based buffer, and if the readworks, write a zero byte beyond its boundary. This will in most cases cause a segfault or similar, but circumstances might also cause different outcomes. If a malicious user can provide a custom netrc file to an application or otherwise affect its contents, this flaw could be used as denial-of-service.
CVE-2022-32221 | 6 Apple, Debian, Haxx and 3 more | 16 Macos, Debian Linux, Curl and 13 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
When doing HTTP(S) transfers, libcurl might erroneously use the read callback (`CURLOPT_READFUNCTION`) to ask for data to send, even when the `CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS` option has been set, if the same handle previously was used to issue a `PUT` request which used that callback. This flaw may surprise the application and cause it to misbehave and either send off the wrong data or use memory after free or similar in the subsequent `POST` request. The problem exists in the logic for a reused handle when it is changed from a PUT to a POST.
CVE-2022-30522 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
If Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 is configured to do transformations with mod_sed in contexts where the input to mod_sed may be very large, mod_sed may make excessively large memory allocations and trigger an abort.
CVE-2022-30115 | 3 Haxx, Netapp, Splunk | 15 Curl, Clustered Data Ontap, H300s and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS directly insteadof using an insecure clear-text HTTP step even when HTTP is provided in theURL. This mechanism could be bypassed if the host name in the given URL used atrailing dot while not using one when it built the HSTS cache. Or the otherway around - by having the trailing dot in the HSTS cache and *not* using thetrailing dot in the URL.
CVE-2022-29824 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 26 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 23 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
In libxml2 before 2.9.14, several buffer handling functions in buf.c (xmlBuf*) and tree.c (xmlBuffer*) don't check for integer overflows. This can result in out-of-bounds memory writes. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted, multi-gigabyte XML file. Other software using libxml2's buffer functions, for example libxslt through 1.1.35, is affected as well.
CVE-2022-29404 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 5 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier, a malicious request to a lua script that calls r:parsebody(0) may cause a denial of service due to no default limit on possible input size.
CVE-2022-28614 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Http Server, Fedora, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
The ap_rwrite() function in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.53 and earlier may read unintended memory if an attacker can cause the server to reflect very large input using ap_rwrite() or ap_rputs(), such as with mod_luas r:puts() function. Modules compiled and distributed separately from Apache HTTP Server that use the 'ap_rputs' function and may pass it a very large (INT_MAX or larger) string must be compiled against current headers to resolve the issue.
CVE-2022-27781 | 5 Debian, Haxx, Netapp and 2 more | 17 Debian Linux, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
libcurl provides the `CURLOPT_CERTINFO` option to allow applications torequest details to be returned about a server's certificate chain.Due to an erroneous function, a malicious server could make libcurl built withNSS get stuck in a never-ending busy-loop when trying to retrieve thatinformation.
CVE-2022-27780 | 3 Haxx, Netapp, Splunk | 15 Curl, Clustered Data Ontap, H300s and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
The curl URL parser wrongly accepts percent-encoded URL separators like '/'when decoding the host name part of a URL, making it a *different* URL usingthe wrong host name when it is later retrieved. For example, a URL like `http://example.com%2F127.0.0.1/`, would be allowed bythe parser and get transposed into `http://example.com/127.0.0.1/`. This flawcan be used to circumvent filters, checks and more. |
