CVE-2020-16166 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 18 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more 2024-11-21 3.7 Low
The Linux kernel through 5.7.11 allows remote attackers to make observations that help to obtain sensitive information about the internal state of the network RNG, aka CID-f227e3ec3b5c. This is related to drivers/char/random.c and kernel/time/timer.c.
CVE-2020-16121 2 Canonical, Packagekit Project 2 Ubuntu Linux, Packagekit 2024-11-21 3.3 Low
PackageKit provided detailed error messages to unprivileged callers that exposed information about file presence and mimetype of files that the user would be unable to determine on its own.
CVE-2020-16120 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel 2024-11-21 5.1 Medium
Overlayfs did not properly perform permission checking when copying up files in an overlayfs and could be exploited from within a user namespace, if, for example, unprivileged user namespaces were allowed. It was possible to have a file not readable by an unprivileged user to be copied to a mountpoint controlled by the user, like a removable device. This was introduced in kernel version 4.19 by commit d1d04ef ("ovl: stack file ops"). This was fixed in kernel version 5.8 by commits 56230d9 ("ovl: verify permissions in ovl_path_open()"), 48bd024 ("ovl: switch to mounter creds in readdir") and 05acefb ("ovl: check permission to open real file"). Additionally, commits 130fdbc ("ovl: pass correct flags for opening real directory") and 292f902 ("ovl: call secutiry hook in ovl_real_ioctl()") in kernel 5.8 might also be desired or necessary. These additional commits introduced a regression in overlay mounts within user namespaces which prevented access to files with ownership outside of the user namespace. This regression was mitigated by subsequent commit b6650da ("ovl: do not fail because of O_NOATIMEi") in kernel 5.11.
CVE-2020-15933 1 Fortinet 1 Fortimail 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
A exposure of sensitive information to an unauthorized actor in Fortinet FortiMail versions 6.0.9 and below, FortiMail versions 6.2.4 and below FortiMail versions 6.4.1 and 6.4.0 allows attacker to obtain potentially sensitive software-version information via client-side resources inspection.
CVE-2020-15931 1 Netwrix 1 Account Lockout Examiner 2024-11-21 7.5 High
Netwrix Account Lockout Examiner before 5.1 allows remote attackers to capture the Net-NTLMv1/v2 authentication challenge hash of the Domain Administrator (that is configured within the product in its installation state) by generating a single Kerberos Pre-Authentication Failed (ID 4771) event on a Domain Controller.
CVE-2020-15794 1 Siemens 1 Desigo Insight 2024-11-21 4.3 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in Desigo Insight (All versions). Some error messages in the web application show the absolute path to the requested resource. This could allow an authenticated attacker to retrieve additional information about the host system.
CVE-2020-15790 1 Siemens 1 Spectrum Power 4 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in Spectrum Power 4 (All versions < V4.70 SP8). If configured in an insecure manner, the web server might be susceptible to a directory listing attack.

This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 68.10.0.
CVE-2020-15565 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
An issue was discovered in Xen through 4.13.x, allowing x86 Intel HVM guest OS users to cause a host OS denial of service or possibly gain privileges because of insufficient cache write-back under VT-d. When page tables are shared between IOMMU and CPU, changes to them require flushing of both TLBs. Furthermore, IOMMUs may be non-coherent, and hence prior to flushing IOMMU TLBs, a CPU cache also needs writing back to memory after changes were made. Such writing back of cached data was missing in particular when splitting large page mappings into smaller granularity ones. A malicious guest may be able to retain read/write DMA access to frames returned to Xen's free pool, and later reused for another purpose. Host crashes (leading to a Denial of Service) and privilege escalation cannot be ruled out. Xen versions from at least 3.2 onwards are affected. Only x86 Intel systems are affected. x86 AMD as well as Arm systems are not affected. Only x86 HVM guests using hardware assisted paging (HAP), having a passed through PCI device assigned, and having page table sharing enabled can leverage the vulnerability. Note that page table sharing will be enabled (by default) only if Xen considers IOMMU and CPU large page size support compatible.
CVE-2020-15502 1 Duckduckgo 1 Duckduckgo 2024-11-21 7.5 High
The DuckDuckGo application through 5.58.0 for Android, and through 7.47.1.0 for iOS, sends hostnames of visited web sites within HTTPS .ico requests to servers in the duckduckgo.com domain, which might make visit data available temporarily at a Potentially Unwanted Endpoint. NOTE: the vendor has stated "the favicon service adheres to our strict privacy policy.
CVE-2020-15250 5 Apache, Debian, Junit and 2 more 5 Pluto, Debian Linux, Junit4 and 2 more 2024-11-21 4.4 Medium
In JUnit4 from version 4.7 and before 4.13.1, the test rule TemporaryFolder contains a local information disclosure vulnerability. On Unix like systems, the system's temporary directory is shared between all users on that system. Because of this, when files and directories are written into this directory they are, by default, readable by other users on that same system. This vulnerability does not allow other users to overwrite the contents of these directories or files. This is purely an information disclosure vulnerability. This vulnerability impacts you if the JUnit tests write sensitive information, like API keys or passwords, into the temporary folder, and the JUnit tests execute in an environment where the OS has other untrusted users. Because certain JDK file system APIs were only added in JDK 1.7, this this fix is dependent upon the version of the JDK you are using. For Java 1.7 and higher users: this vulnerability is fixed in 4.13.1. For Java 1.6 and lower users: no patch is available, you must use the workaround below. If you are unable to patch, or are stuck running on Java 1.6, specifying the `java.io.tmpdir` system environment variable to a directory that is exclusively owned by the executing user will fix this vulnerability. For more information, including an example of vulnerable code, see the referenced GitHub Security Advisory.
CVE-2020-15235 1 Ractf 1 Core 2024-11-21 5.9 Medium
In RACTF before commit f3dc89b, unauthenticated users are able to get the value of sensitive config keys that would normally be hidden to everyone except admins. All versions after commit f3dc89b9f6ab1544a289b3efc06699b13d63e0bd(3/10/20) are patched.
CVE-2020-15157 4 Canonical, Debian, Linuxfoundation and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Containerd and 1 more 2024-11-21 6.1 Medium
In containerd (an industry-standard container runtime) before version 1.2.14 there is a credential leaking vulnerability. If a container image manifest in the OCI Image format or Docker Image V2 Schema 2 format includes a URL for the location of a specific image layer (otherwise known as a “foreign layer”), the default containerd resolver will follow that URL to attempt to download it. In v1.2.x but not 1.3.0 or later, the default containerd resolver will provide its authentication credentials if the server where the URL is located presents an HTTP 401 status code along with registry-specific HTTP headers. If an attacker publishes a public image with a manifest that directs one of the layers to be fetched from a web server they control and they trick a user or system into pulling the image, they can obtain the credentials used for pulling that image. In some cases, this may be the user's username and password for the registry. In other cases, this may be the credentials attached to the cloud virtual instance which can grant access to other cloud resources in the account. The default containerd resolver is used by the cri-containerd plugin (which can be used by Kubernetes), the ctr development tool, and other client programs that have explicitly linked against it. This vulnerability has been fixed in containerd 1.2.14. containerd 1.3 and later are not affected. If you are using containerd 1.3 or later, you are not affected. If you are using cri-containerd in the 1.2 series or prior, you should ensure you only pull images from trusted sources. Other container runtimes built on top of containerd but not using the default resolver (such as Docker) are not affected.
CVE-2020-15099 1 Typo3 1 Typo3 2024-11-21 8.1 High
In TYPO3 CMS greater than or equal to 9.0.0 and less than 9.5.20, and greater than or equal to 10.0.0 and less than 10.4.6, in a case where an attacker manages to generate a valid cryptographic message authentication code (HMAC-SHA1) - either by using a different existing vulnerability or in case the internal encryptionKey was exposed - it is possible to retrieve arbitrary files of a TYPO3 installation. This includes the possibility to fetch typo3conf/LocalConfiguration.php, which again contains the encryptionKey as well as credentials of the database management system being used. In case a database server is directly accessible either via internet or in a shared hosting network, this allows the ability to completely retrieve, manipulate or delete database contents. This includes creating an administration user account - which can be used to trigger remote code execution by injecting custom extensions. This has been patched in versions 9.5.20 and 10.4.6.
CVE-2020-15098 1 Typo3 1 Typo3 2024-11-21 8.8 High
In TYPO3 CMS greater than or equal to 9.0.0 and less than 9.5.20, and greater than or equal to 10.0.0 and less than 10.4.6, it has been discovered that an internal verification mechanism can be used to generate arbitrary checksums. This allows to inject arbitrary data having a valid cryptographic message authentication code (HMAC-SHA1) and can lead to various attack chains including potential privilege escalation, insecure deserialization & remote code execution. The overall severity of this vulnerability is high based on mentioned attack chains and the requirement of having a valid backend user session (authenticated). This has been patched in versions 9.5.20 and 10.4.6.
CVE-2020-15086 1 Typo3 1 Mediace 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
In TYPO3 installations with the "mediace" extension from version 7.6.2 and before version 7.6.5, it has been discovered that an internal verification mechanism can be used to generate arbitrary checksums. The allows to inject arbitrary data having a valid cryptographic message authentication code and can lead to remote code execution. To successfully exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must have access to at least one `Extbase` plugin or module action in a TYPO3 installation. This is fixed in version 7.6.5 of the "mediace" extension for TYPO3.
CVE-2020-15081 1 Prestashop 1 Prestashop 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
In PrestaShop from version 1.5.0.0 and before 1.7.6.6, there is information exposure in the upload directory. The problem is fixed in version 1.7.6.6. A possible workaround is to add an empty index.php file in the upload directory.
