CVE-2024-3056 | 3 Fedoraproject, Podman Project, Redhat | 5 Fedora, Podman, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2025-09-25 | 7.7 High |
A flaw was found in Podman. This issue may allow an attacker to create a specially crafted container that, when configured to share the same IPC with at least one other container, can create a large number of IPC resources in /dev/shm. The malicious container will continue to exhaust resources until it is out-of-memory (OOM) killed. While the malicious container's cgroup will be removed, the IPC resources it created are not. Those resources are tied to the IPC namespace that will not be removed until all containers using it are stopped, and one non-malicious container is holding the namespace open. The malicious container is restarted, either automatically or by attacker control, repeating the process and increasing the amount of memory consumed. With a container configured to restart always, such as `podman run --restart=always`, this can result in a memory-based denial of service of the system.
CVE-2023-39194 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 3.2 Low |
A flaw was found in the XFRM subsystem in the Linux kernel. The specific flaw exists within the processing of state filters, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially leading to an information disclosure.
CVE-2024-1151 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A vulnerability was reported in the Open vSwitch sub-component in the Linux Kernel. The flaw occurs when a recursive operation of code push recursively calls into the code block. The OVS module does not validate the stack depth, pushing too many frames and causing a stack overflow. As a result, this can lead to a crash or other related issues.
CVE-2023-42756 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2025-09-25 | 4.4 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem of the Linux kernel. A race condition between IPSET_CMD_ADD and IPSET_CMD_SWAP can lead to a kernel panic due to the invocation of `__ip_set_put` on a wrong `set`. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2023-4132 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |

CVE-2023-42754 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel ipv4 stack. The socket buffer (skb) was assumed to be associated with a device before calling __ip_options_compile, which is not always the case if the skb is re-routed by ipvs. This issue may allow a local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to crash the system.
CVE-2023-39198 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 7.5 High |
A race condition was found in the QXL driver in the Linux kernel. The qxl_mode_dumb_create() function dereferences the qobj returned by the qxl_gem_object_create_with_handle(), but the handle is the only one holding a reference to it. This flaw allows an attacker to guess the returned handle value and trigger a use-after-free issue, potentially leading to a denial of service or privilege escalation.
CVE-2023-39193 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 6.1 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The sctp_mt_check did not validate the flag_count field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-39192 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 6.7 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The xt_u32 module did not validate the fields in the xt_u32 structure. This flaw allows a local privileged attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read by setting the size fields with a value beyond the array boundaries, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-39189 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 5.1 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The nfnl_osf_add_callback function did not validate the user mode controlled opt_num field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-6622 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A null pointer dereference vulnerability was found in nft_dynset_init() in net/netfilter/nft_dynset.c in nf_tables in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a local attacker with CAP_NET_ADMIN user privilege to trigger a denial of service.
CVE-2023-4133 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the cxgb4 driver in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs when the cxgb4 device is detaching due to a possible rearming of the flower_stats_timer from the work queue. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-6546 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 9 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-09-25 | 7 High |
A race condition was found in the GSM 0710 tty multiplexor in the Linux kernel. This issue occurs when two threads execute the GSMIOC_SETCONF ioctl on the same tty file descriptor with the gsm line discipline enabled, and can lead to a use-after-free problem on a struct gsm_dlci while restarting the gsm mux. This could allow a local unprivileged user to escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2023-4194 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's TUN/TAP functionality. This issue could allow a local user to bypass network filters and gain unauthorized access to some resources. The original patches fixing CVE-2023-1076 are incorrect or incomplete. The problem is that the following upstream commits - a096ccca6e50 ("tun: tun_chr_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), - 66b2c338adce ("tap: tap_open(): correctly initialize socket uid"), pass "inode->i_uid" to sock_init_data_uid() as the last parameter and that turns out to not be accurate.
CVE-2024-0443 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the blkgs destruction path in block/blk-cgroup.c in the Linux kernel, leading to a cgroup blkio memory leakage problem. When a cgroup is being destroyed, cgroup_rstat_flush() is only called at css_release_work_fn(), which is called when the blkcg reference count reaches 0. This circular dependency will prevent blkcg and some blkgs from being freed after they are made offline. This issue may allow an attacker with a local access to cause system instability, such as an out of memory error.
CVE-2023-4273 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 9 more | 2025-09-25 | 6 Medium |
A flaw was found in the exFAT driver of the Linux kernel. The vulnerability exists in the implementation of the file name reconstruction function, which is responsible for reading file name entries from a directory index and merging file name parts belonging to one file into a single long file name. Since the file name characters are copied into a stack variable, a local privileged attacker could use this flaw to overflow the kernel stack.
CVE-2023-3773 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to cause a 4 byte out-of-bounds read of XFRMA_MTIMER_THRESH when parsing netlink attributes, leading to potential leakage of sensitive heap data to userspace.
CVE-2023-3772 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 5 more | 2025-09-25 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to directly dereference a NULL pointer in xfrm_update_ae_params(), leading to a possible kernel crash and denial of service.
CVE-2023-39191 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-09-25 | 8.2 High |
An improper input validation flaw was found in the eBPF subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue occurs due to a lack of proper validation of dynamic pointers within user-supplied eBPF programs prior to executing them. This may allow an attacker with CAP_BPF privileges to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel.
CVE-2023-51767 | 3 Fedoraproject, Openbsd, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Openssh, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-22 | 7.0 High |
OpenSSH through 10.0, when common types of DRAM are used, might allow row hammer attacks (for authentication bypass) because the integer value of authenticated in mm_answer_authpassword does not resist flips of a single bit. NOTE: this is applicable to a certain threat model of attacker-victim co-location in which the attacker has user privileges. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier, who states "we do not consider it to be the application's responsibility to defend against platform architectural weaknesses." |
