CVE-2023-42756 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2025-11-06 4.4 Medium
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem of the Linux kernel. A race condition between IPSET_CMD_ADD and IPSET_CMD_SWAP can lead to a kernel panic due to the invocation of `__ip_set_put` on a wrong `set`. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2023-42754 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel ipv4 stack. The socket buffer (skb) was assumed to be associated with a device before calling __ip_options_compile, which is not always the case if the skb is re-routed by ipvs. This issue may allow a local user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to crash the system.
CVE-2023-39198 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-06 7.5 High
A race condition was found in the QXL driver in the Linux kernel. The qxl_mode_dumb_create() function dereferences the qobj returned by the qxl_gem_object_create_with_handle(), but the handle is the only one holding a reference to it. This flaw allows an attacker to guess the returned handle value and trigger a use-after-free issue, potentially leading to a denial of service or privilege escalation.
CVE-2023-39193 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-06 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The sctp_mt_check did not validate the flag_count field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-39189 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-06 5.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The nfnl_osf_add_callback function did not validate the user mode controlled opt_num field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure.
CVE-2023-6622 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
A null pointer dereference vulnerability was found in nft_dynset_init() in net/netfilter/nft_dynset.c in nf_tables in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a local attacker with CAP_NET_ADMIN user privilege to trigger a denial of service.
CVE-2023-4133 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the cxgb4 driver in the Linux kernel. The bug occurs when the cxgb4 device is detaching due to a possible rearming of the flower_stats_timer from the work queue. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system, causing a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-6546 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 9 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-11-06 7 High
A race condition was found in the GSM 0710 tty multiplexor in the Linux kernel. This issue occurs when two threads execute the GSMIOC_SETCONF ioctl on the same tty file descriptor with the gsm line discipline enabled, and can lead to a use-after-free problem on a struct gsm_dlci while restarting the gsm mux. This could allow a local unprivileged user to escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2019-13272 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more 2025-11-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel before 5.1.17, ptrace_link in kernel/ptrace.c mishandles the recording of the credentials of a process that wants to create a ptrace relationship, which allows local users to obtain root access by leveraging certain scenarios with a parent-child process relationship, where a parent drops privileges and calls execve (potentially allowing control by an attacker). One contributing factor is an object lifetime issue (which can also cause a panic). Another contributing factor is incorrect marking of a ptrace relationship as privileged, which is exploitable through (for example) Polkit's pkexec helper with PTRACE_TRACEME. NOTE: SELinux deny_ptrace might be a usable workaround in some environments.
CVE-2023-4911 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 40 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 37 more 2025-11-06 7.8 High
A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges.
CVE-2022-0847 7 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp and 4 more 42 Fedora, Linux Kernel, H300e and 39 more 2025-11-06 7.8 High
A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2023-41993 7 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 17 Ipad Os, Ipados, Iphone Os and 14 more 2025-11-05 8.8 High
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited against versions of iOS before iOS 16.7.
CVE-2024-36048 2 Fedoraproject, Qt 3 Fedora, Qt, Qt Network Authorization 2025-11-04 9.8 Critical
QAbstractOAuth in Qt Network Authorization in Qt before 5.15.17, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.6, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.1 uses only the time to seed the PRNG, which may result in guessable values.
CVE-2024-34397 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnome and 2 more 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glib and 3 more 2025-11-04 5.2 Medium
An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.78.5, and 2.79.x and 2.80.x before 2.80.1. When a GDBus-based client subscribes to signals from a trusted system service such as NetworkManager on a shared computer, other users of the same computer can send spoofed D-Bus signals that the GDBus-based client will wrongly interpret as having been sent by the trusted system service. This could lead to the GDBus-based client behaving incorrectly, with an application-dependent impact.
CVE-2024-31497 6 Fedoraproject, Filezilla-project, Putty and 3 more 6 Fedora, Filezilla Client, Putty and 3 more 2025-11-04 5.9 Medium
In PuTTY 0.68 through 0.80 before 0.81, biased ECDSA nonce generation allows an attacker to recover a user's NIST P-521 secret key via a quick attack in approximately 60 signatures. This is especially important in a scenario where an adversary is able to read messages signed by PuTTY or Pageant. The required set of signed messages may be publicly readable because they are stored in a public Git service that supports use of SSH for commit signing, and the signatures were made by Pageant through an agent-forwarding mechanism. In other words, an adversary may already have enough signature information to compromise a victim's private key, even if there is no further use of vulnerable PuTTY versions. After a key compromise, an adversary may be able to conduct supply-chain attacks on software maintained in Git. A second, independent scenario is that the adversary is an operator of an SSH server to which the victim authenticates (for remote login or file copy), even though this server is not fully trusted by the victim, and the victim uses the same private key for SSH connections to other services operated by other entities. Here, the rogue server operator (who would otherwise have no way to determine the victim's private key) can derive the victim's private key, and then use it for unauthorized access to those other services. If the other services include Git services, then again it may be possible to conduct supply-chain attacks on software maintained in Git. This also affects, for example, FileZilla before 3.67.0, WinSCP before 6.3.3, TortoiseGit before 2.15.0.1, and TortoiseSVN through 1.14.6.
CVE-2024-31031 2 Fedoraproject, Libcoap 2 Fedora, Libcoap 2025-11-04 7.5 High
An issue in `coap_pdu.c` in libcoap 4.3.4 allows attackers to cause undefined behavior via a sequence of messages leading to unsigned integer overflow.
CVE-2024-28960 3 Arm, Fedoraproject, Mbed 5 Mbed Crypto, Mbed Tls, Fedora and 2 more 2025-11-04 8.2 High
An issue was discovered in Mbed TLS 2.18.0 through 2.28.x before 2.28.8 and 3.x before 3.6.0, and Mbed Crypto. The PSA Crypto API mishandles shared memory.
CVE-2024-28757 4 Fedoraproject, Libexpat Project, Netapp and 1 more 23 Fedora, Libexpat, Active Iq Unified Manager and 20 more 2025-11-04 7.5 High
libexpat through 2.6.1 allows an XML Entity Expansion attack when there is isolated use of external parsers (created via XML_ExternalEntityParserCreate).
CVE-2024-27316 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 7 Http Server, Fedora, Ontap and 4 more 2025-11-04 7.5 High
HTTP/2 incoming headers exceeding the limit are temporarily buffered in nghttp2 in order to generate an informative HTTP 413 response. If a client does not stop sending headers, this leads to memory exhaustion.
CVE-2024-25713 3 Fedoraproject, Ibireme, Yyjson 3 Fedora, Yyjson, Yyjson 2025-11-04 8.6 High
yyjson through 0.8.0 has a double free, leading to remote code execution in some cases, because the pool_free function lacks loop checks. (pool_free is part of the pool series allocator, along with pool_malloc and pool_realloc.)
