CVE-2025-1125 2 Gnu, Redhat 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-01-08 7.8 High
When reading data from a hfs filesystem, grub's hfs filesystem module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem metadata to calculate the internal buffers size, however it misses to properly check for integer overflows. A maliciouly crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculation to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result the hfsplus_open_compressed_real() function will write past of the internal buffer length. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-0689 2 Gnu, Redhat 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-01-08 7.8 High
When reading data from disk, the grub's UDF filesystem module utilizes the user controlled data length metadata to allocate its internal buffers. In certain scenarios, while iterating through disk sectors, it assumes the read size from the disk is always smaller than the allocated buffer size which is not guaranteed. A crafted filesystem image may lead to a heap-based buffer overflow resulting in critical data to be corrupted, resulting in the risk of arbitrary code execution by-passing secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-0620 2 Redhat, Samba 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Samba 2026-01-08 4.9 Medium
A flaw was found in Samba. The smbd service daemon does not pick up group membership changes when re-authenticating an expired SMB session. This issue can expose file shares until clients disconnect and then connect again.
CVE-2024-7259 2 Ovirt, Redhat 3 Ovirt-engine, Rhev Hypervisor, Virtualization 2026-01-08 4.9 Medium
A flaw was found in oVirt. A user with administrator privileges, including users with the ReadOnlyAdmin permission, may be able to use browser developer tools to view Provider passwords in cleartext.
CVE-2025-5918 2 Libarchive, Redhat 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-01-08 3.9 Low
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw can be triggered when file streams are piped into bsdtar, potentially allowing for reading past the end of the file. This out-of-bounds read can lead to unintended consequences, including unpredictable program behavior, memory corruption, or a denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2025-5917 2 Libarchive, Redhat 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-01-08 2.8 Low
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw involves an 'off-by-one' miscalculation when handling prefixes and suffixes for file names. This can lead to a 1-byte write overflow. While seemingly small, such an overflow can corrupt adjacent memory, leading to unpredictable program behavior, crashes, or in specific circumstances, could be leveraged as a building block for more sophisticated exploitation. This bug affects libarchive versions prior to 3.8.0.
CVE-2025-5916 2 Libarchive, Redhat 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-01-08 3.9 Low
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can be triggered when processing a Web Archive (WARC) file that claims to have more than INT64_MAX - 4 content bytes. An attacker could craft a malicious WARC archive to induce this overflow, potentially leading to unpredictable program behavior, memory corruption, or a denial-of-service condition within applications that process such archives using libarchive. This bug affects libarchive versions prior to 3.8.0.
CVE-2025-14874 2 Nodemailer, Redhat 6 Nodemailer, Acm, Advanced Cluster Management For Kubernetes and 3 more 2026-01-08 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Nodemailer. This vulnerability allows a denial of service (DoS) via a crafted email address header that triggers infinite recursion in the address parser.
CVE-2022-32912 2 Apple, Redhat 4 Ipados, Iphone Os, Safari and 1 more 2026-01-07 8.8 High
An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in Safari 16, iOS 16, iOS 15.7 and iPadOS 15.7. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2025-5914 2 Libarchive, Redhat 18 Libarchive, Cert Manager, Confidential Compute Attestation and 15 more 2026-01-07 7.8 High
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_format_rar_seek_data() function. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can ultimately lead to a double-free condition. Exploiting a double-free vulnerability can result in memory corruption, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2025-13947 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2026-01-07 7.4 High
A flaw was found in WebKitGTK. This vulnerability allows remote, user-assisted information disclosure that can reveal any file the user is permitted to read via abusing the file drag-and-drop mechanism where WebKitGTK does not verify that drag operations originate from outside the browser.
CVE-2025-11561 1 Redhat 9 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more 2026-01-07 8.8 High
A flaw was found in the integration of Active Directory and the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) on Linux systems. In default configurations, the Kerberos local authentication plugin (sssd_krb5_localauth_plugin) is enabled, but a fallback to the an2ln plugin is possible. This fallback allows an attacker with permission to modify certain AD attributes (such as userPrincipalName or samAccountName) to impersonate privileged users, potentially resulting in unauthorized access or privilege escalation on domain-joined Linux hosts.
CVE-2025-9900 1 Redhat 9 Ai Inference Server, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2026-01-07 8.8 High
A flaw was found in Libtiff. This vulnerability is a "write-what-where" condition, triggered when the library processes a specially crafted TIFF image file. By providing an abnormally large image height value in the file's metadata, an attacker can trick the library into writing attacker-controlled color data to an arbitrary memory location. This memory corruption can be exploited to cause a denial of service (application crash) or to achieve arbitrary code execution with the permissions of the user.
CVE-2024-32004 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Git and 2 more 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Git and 6 more 2026-01-06 8.2 High

Prior to versions 2.45.1, 2.44.1, 2.43.4, 2.42.2, 2.41.1, 2.40.2, and 2.39.4, an attacker can prepare a local repository in such a way that, when cloned, will execute arbitrary code during the operation. The problem has been patched in versions 2.45.1, 2.44.1, 2.43.4, 2.42.2, 2.41.1, 2.40.2, and 2.39.4. As a workaround, avoid cloning repositories from untrusted sources.
CVE-2024-32020 4 Fedoraproject, Git, Git-scm and 1 more 5 Fedora, Git, Git and 2 more 2026-01-06 3.9 Low
Git is a revision control system. Prior to versions 2.45.1, 2.44.1, 2.43.4, 2.42.2, 2.41.1, 2.40.2, and 2.39.4, local clones may end up hardlinking files into the target repository's object database when source and target repository reside on the same disk. If the source repository is owned by a different user, then those hardlinked files may be rewritten at any point in time by the untrusted user. Cloning local repositories will cause Git to either copy or hardlink files of the source repository into the target repository. This significantly speeds up such local clones compared to doing a "proper" clone and saves both disk space and compute time. When cloning a repository located on the same disk that is owned by a different user than the current user we also end up creating such hardlinks. These files will continue to be owned and controlled by the potentially-untrusted user and can be rewritten by them at will in the future. The problem has been patched in versions 2.45.1, 2.44.1, 2.43.4, 2.42.2, 2.41.1, 2.40.2, and 2.39.4.
