CVE-2025-37780 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isofs: Prevent the use of too small fid syzbot reported a slab-out-of-bounds Read in isofs_fh_to_parent. [1] The handle_bytes value passed in by the reproducing program is equal to 12. In handle_to_path(), only 12 bytes of memory are allocated for the structure file_handle->f_handle member, which causes an out-of-bounds access when accessing the member parent_block of the structure isofs_fid in isofs, because accessing parent_block requires at least 16 bytes of f_handle. Here, fh_len is used to indirectly confirm that the value of handle_bytes is greater than 3 before accessing parent_block. CVE-2025-37779 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/iov_iter: fix to increase non slab folio refcount When testing EROFS file-backed mount over v9fs on qemu, I encountered a folio UAF issue. The page sanity check reports the following call trace. The root cause is that pages in bvec are coalesced across a folio bounary. CVE-2022-49796 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: kprobe: Fix potential null-ptr-deref on trace_array in kprobe_event_gen_test_exit() When test_gen_kprobe_cmd() failed after kprobe_event_gen_cmd_end(), it will goto delete, which will call kprobe_event_delete() and release the corresponding resource. However, the trace_array in gen_kretprobe_test will point to the invalid resource. Set gen_kretprobe_test to NULL after called kprobe_event_delete() to prevent null-ptr-deref. CVE-2025-37789 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 7.8 High

CVE-2025-37788 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxgb4: fix memory leak in cxgb4_init_ethtool_filters() error path In the for loop used to allocate the loc_array and bmap for each port, a memory leak is possible when the allocation for loc_array succeeds, but the allocation for bmap fails. This is because when the control flow goes to the label free_eth_finfo, only the allocations starting from (i-1)th iteration are freed. Fix that by freeing the loc_array in the bmap allocation error path.
CVE-2025-37783 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dpu: Fix error pointers in dpu_plane_virtual_atomic_check The function dpu_plane_virtual_atomic_check was dereferencing pointers returned by drm_atomic_get_plane_state without checking for errors. This could lead to undefined behavior if the function returns an error pointer. This commit adds checks using IS_ERR to ensure that plane_state is valid before dereferencing them. Similar to commit da29abe71e16 ("drm/amd/display: Fix error pointers in amdgpu_dm_crtc_mem_type_changed"). Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/643132/
CVE-2025-37781 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: cros-ec-tunnel: defer probe if parent EC is not present When i2c-cros-ec-tunnel and the EC driver are built-in, the EC parent device will not be found, leading to NULL pointer dereference. That can also be reproduced by unbinding the controller driver and then loading i2c-cros-ec-tunnel module (or binding the device). CVE-2019-13272 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more 2025-11-06 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel before 5.1.17, ptrace_link in kernel/ptrace.c mishandles the recording of the credentials of a process that wants to create a ptrace relationship, which allows local users to obtain root access by leveraging certain scenarios with a parent-child process relationship, where a parent drops privileges and calls execve (potentially allowing control by an attacker). One contributing factor is an object lifetime issue (which can also cause a panic). Another contributing factor is incorrect marking of a ptrace relationship as privileged, which is exploitable through (for example) Polkit's pkexec helper with PTRACE_TRACEME. NOTE: SELinux deny_ptrace might be a usable workaround in some environments.

CVE-2025-38240 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/mediatek: dp: drm_err => dev_err in HPD path to avoid NULL ptr The function mtk_dp_wait_hpd_asserted() may be called before the `mtk_dp->drm_dev` pointer is assigned in mtk_dp_bridge_attach(). Specifically it can be called via this callpath: - mtk_edp_wait_hpd_asserted - [panel probe] - dp_aux_ep_probe Using "drm" level prints anywhere in this callpath causes a NULL pointer dereference. Change the error message directly in mtk_dp_wait_hpd_asserted() to dev_err() to avoid this. Also change the error messages in mtk_dp_parse_capabilities(), which is called by mtk_dp_wait_hpd_asserted(). While touching these prints, also add the error code to them to make future debugging easier.

A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copy_page_to_iter_pipe and push_pipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-0185 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 20 Linux Kernel, H300e, H300e Firmware and 17 more 2025-11-06 8.4 High
A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the way the legacy_parse_param function in the Filesystem Context functionality of the Linux kernel verified the supplied parameters length. An unprivileged (in case of unprivileged user namespaces enabled, otherwise needs namespaced CAP_SYS_ADMIN privilege) local user able to open a filesystem that does not support the Filesystem Context API (and thus fallbacks to legacy handling) could use this flaw to escalate their privileges on the system.
