CVE-2020-10757 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the Linux Kernel in versions after 4.5-rc1 in the way mremap handled DAX Huge Pages. This flaw allows a local attacker with access to a DAX enabled storage to escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2020-10742 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Extras Rt | 2024-11-21 | 6.0 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. An index buffer overflow during Direct IO write leading to the NFS client to crash. In some cases, a reach out of the index after one memory allocation by kmalloc will cause a kernel panic. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and system availability.
CVE-2020-10732 | 5 Canonical, Linux, Netapp and 2 more | 33 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 30 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.3 Low |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's implementation of Userspace core dumps. This flaw allows an attacker with a local account to crash a trivial program and exfiltrate private kernel data.
CVE-2020-10720 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's implementation of GRO in versions before 5.2. This flaw allows an attacker with local access to crash the system.
CVE-2020-10711 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel's SELinux subsystem in versions before 5.7. This flaw occurs while importing the Commercial IP Security Option (CIPSO) protocol's category bitmap into the SELinux extensible bitmap via the' ebitmap_netlbl_import' routine. While processing the CIPSO restricted bitmap tag in the 'cipso_v4_parsetag_rbm' routine, it sets the security attribute to indicate that the category bitmap is present, even if it has not been allocated. This issue leads to a NULL pointer dereference issue while importing the same category bitmap into SELinux. This flaw allows a remote network user to crash the system kernel, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2020-10690 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more | 34 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 31 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
There is a use-after-free in kernel versions before 5.5 due to a race condition between the release of ptp_clock and cdev while resource deallocation. When a (high privileged) process allocates a ptp device file (like /dev/ptpX) and voluntarily goes to sleep. During this time if the underlying device is removed, it can cause an exploitable condition as the process wakes up to terminate and clean all attached files. The system crashes due to the cdev structure being invalid (as already freed) which is pointed to by the inode.
CVE-2020-0561 | 4 Intel, Linux, Microsoft and 1 more | 5 Software Guard Extensions Sdk, Linux Kernel, Windows and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
Improper initialization in the Intel(R) SGX SDK before v2.6.100.1 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
CVE-2019-9857 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
In the Linux kernel through 5.0.2, the function inotify_update_existing_watch() in fs/notify/inotify/inotify_user.c neglects to call fsnotify_put_mark() with IN_MASK_CREATE after fsnotify_find_mark(), which will cause a memory leak (aka refcount leak). Finally, this will cause a denial of service.
CVE-2019-9500 | 3 Broadcom, Linux, Redhat | 5 Brcmfmac Driver, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.9 High |
The Broadcom brcmfmac WiFi driver prior to commit 1b5e2423164b3670e8bc9174e4762d297990deff is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow. If the Wake-up on Wireless LAN functionality is configured, a malicious event frame can be constructed to trigger an heap buffer overflow in the brcmf_wowl_nd_results function. This vulnerability can be exploited with compromised chipsets to compromise the host, or when used in combination with CVE-2019-9503, can be used remotely. In the worst case scenario, by sending specially-crafted WiFi packets, a remote, unauthenticated attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. More typically, this vulnerability will result in denial-of-service conditions.
CVE-2019-9213 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
In the Linux kernel before 4.20.14, expand_downwards in mm/mmap.c lacks a check for the mmap minimum address, which makes it easier for attackers to exploit kernel NULL pointer dereferences on non-SMAP platforms. This is related to a capability check for the wrong task.
CVE-2019-9162 | 3 Canonical, Linux, Netapp | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Cn1610 and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
In the Linux kernel before 4.20.12, net/ipv4/netfilter/nf_nat_snmp_basic_main.c in the SNMP NAT module has insufficient ASN.1 length checks (aka an array index error), making out-of-bounds read and write operations possible, leading to an OOPS or local privilege escalation. This affects snmp_version and snmp_helper.
CVE-2019-9003 | 5 Canonical, Linux, Netapp and 2 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Cn1610 and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
In the Linux kernel before 4.20.5, attackers can trigger a drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_msghandler.c use-after-free and OOPS by arranging for certain simultaneous execution of the code, as demonstrated by a "service ipmievd restart" loop.
CVE-2019-8980 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
A memory leak in the kernel_read_file function in fs/exec.c in the Linux kernel through 4.20.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering vfs_read failures.
CVE-2019-8956 | 2 Canonical, Linux | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
In the Linux Kernel before versions 4.20.8 and 4.19.21 a use-after-free error in the "sctp_sendmsg()" function (net/sctp/socket.c) when handling SCTP_SENDALL flag can be exploited to corrupt memory.
CVE-2019-8922 | 3 Bluez, Debian, Linux | 3 Bluez, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in bluetoothd in BlueZ through 5.48. There isn't any check on whether there is enough space in the destination buffer. The function simply appends all data passed to it. The values of all attributes that are requested are appended to the output buffer. There are no size checks whatsoever, resulting in a simple heap overflow if one can craft a request where the response is large enough to overflow the preallocated buffer. This issue exists in service_attr_req gets called by process_request (in sdpd-request.c), which also allocates the response buffer.
CVE-2019-8921 | 3 Bluez, Debian, Linux | 3 Bluez, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
An issue was discovered in bluetoothd in BlueZ through 5.48. The vulnerability lies in the handling of a SVC_ATTR_REQ by the SDP implementation. By crafting a malicious CSTATE, it is possible to trick the server into returning more bytes than the buffer actually holds, resulting in leaking arbitrary heap data. The root cause can be found in the function service_attr_req of sdpd-request.c. The server does not check whether the CSTATE data is the same in consecutive requests, and instead simply trusts that it is the same.
CVE-2019-8912 | 4 Canonical, Linux, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Leap and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
In the Linux kernel through 4.20.11, af_alg_release() in crypto/af_alg.c neglects to set a NULL value for a certain structure member, which leads to a use-after-free in sockfs_setattr.
CVE-2019-8255 | 4 Adobe, Apple, Linux and 1 more | 4 Brackets, Mac Os X, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
Brackets versions 1.14 and earlier have a command injection vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2019-8075 | 8 Adobe, Apple, Debian and 5 more | 12 Flash Player, Flash Player Desktop Runtime, Macos and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Adobe Flash Player version 32.0.0.192 and earlier versions have a Same Origin Policy Bypass vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to Information Disclosure in the context of the current user.
CVE-2019-8070 | 6 Adobe, Apple, Google and 3 more | 9 Flash Player, Flash Player Desktop Runtime, Macos and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
Adobe Flash Player 32.0.0.238 and earlier versions, 32.0.0.207 and earlier versions have a Use after free vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to Arbitrary Code Execution in the context of the current user. |
