CVE-2022-49306 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-03 | 5.5 Medium |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: dwc3: host: Stop setting the ACPI companion It is no longer needed. The sysdev pointer is now used when assigning the ACPI companions to the xHCI ports and USB devices. Assigning the ACPI companion here resulted in the fwnode->secondary pointer to be replaced also for the parent dwc3 device since the primary fwnode (the ACPI companion) was shared. That was unintentional and it created potential side effects like resource leaks.
CVE-2022-49078 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-03 | 7.8 High |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lz4: fix LZ4_decompress_safe_partial read out of bound When partialDecoding, it is EOF if we've either filled the output buffer or can't proceed with reading an offset for following match. In some extreme corner cases when compressed data is suitably corrupted, UAF will occur. As reported by KASAN [1], LZ4_decompress_safe_partial may lead to read out of bound problem during decoding. lz4 upstream has fixed it [2] and this issue has been disscussed here [3] before. current decompression routine was ported from lz4 v1.8.3, bumping lib/lz4 to v1.9.+ is certainly a huge work to be done later, so, we'd better fix it first. CVE-2025-6199 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 2 Gdkpixbuf, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-03 | 3.3 Low |
A flaw was found in the GIF parser of GdkPixbuf’s LZW decoder. When an invalid symbol is encountered during decompression, the decoder sets the reported output size to the full buffer length rather than the actual number of written bytes. This logic error results in uninitialized sections of the buffer being included in the output, potentially leaking arbitrary memory contents in the processed image.
CVE-2024-8443 | 2 Opensc Project, Redhat | 2 Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 2.9 Low |
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the libopensc OpenPGP driver. A crafted USB device or smart card with malicious responses to the APDUs during the card enrollment process using the `pkcs15-init` tool may lead to out-of-bound rights, possibly resulting in arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2024-6501 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-09-02 | 3.1 Low |

A flaw was found in the keylime attestation verifier, which fails to flag a device's submitted TPM quote as faulty when the quote's signature does not validate for some reason. Instead, it will only emit an error in the log without flagging the device as untrusted.
CVE-2025-26623 | 2 Exiv2, Redhat | 2 Exiv2, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 9.8 Critical |
Exiv2 is a C++ library and a command-line utility to read, write, delete and modify Exif, IPTC, XMP and ICC image metadata. A heap buffer overflow was found in Exiv2 versions v0.28.0 to v0.28.4. Versions prior to v0.28.0, such as v0.27.7, are **not** affected. Exiv2 is a command-line utility and C++ library for reading, writing, deleting, and modifying the metadata of image files. The heap overflow is triggered when Exiv2 is used to write metadata into a crafted image file. An attacker could potentially exploit the vulnerability to gain code execution, if they can trick the victim into running Exiv2 on a crafted image file. Note that this bug is only triggered when writing the metadata, which is a less frequently used Exiv2 operation than reading the metadata. For example, to trigger the bug in the Exiv2 command-line application, you need to add an extra command-line argument such as `fixiso`. The bug is fixed in version v0.28.5. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-5742 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Nano, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 6.7 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in GNU Nano that allows a possible privilege escalation through an insecure temporary file. If Nano is killed while editing, a file it saves to an emergency file with the permissions of the running user provides a window of opportunity for attackers to escalate privileges through a malicious symlink.
CVE-2024-49395 | 3 Mutt, Neomutt, Redhat | 3 Mutt, Neomutt, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 5.3 Medium |
In mutt and neomutt, PGP encryption does not use the --hidden-recipient mode which may leak the Bcc email header field by inferring from the recipients info.
CVE-2024-49394 | 3 Mutt, Neomutt, Redhat | 3 Mutt, Neomutt, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 5.3 Medium |
In mutt and neomutt the In-Reply-To email header field is not protected by cryptographic signing which allows an attacker to reuse an unencrypted but signed email message to impersonate the original sender.
CVE-2025-6196 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 2 Libgepub, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 5.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in libgepub, a library used to read EPUB files. The software mishandles file size calculations when opening specially crafted EPUB files, leading to incorrect memory allocations. This issue causes the application to crash. Known affected usage includes desktop services like Tumbler, which may process malicious files automatically when browsing directories. While no direct remote attack vectors are confirmed, any application using libgepub to parse user-supplied EPUB content could be vulnerable to a denial of service.
CVE-2023-4535 | 3 Fedoraproject, Opensc Project, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 4.5 Medium |
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in OpenSC packages within the MyEID driver when handling symmetric key encryption. Exploiting this flaw requires an attacker to have physical access to the computer and a specially crafted USB device or smart card. This flaw allows the attacker to manipulate APDU responses and potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive data, compromising the system's security.
CVE-2024-1454 | 3 Fedoraproject, Opensc Project, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Opensc, Enterprise Linux | 2025-09-02 | 3.4 Low |
The use-after-free vulnerability was found in the AuthentIC driver in OpenSC packages, occuring in the card enrolment process using pkcs15-init when a user or administrator enrols or modifies cards. An attacker must have physical access to the computer system and requires a crafted USB device or smart card to present the system with specially crafted responses to the APDUs, which are considered high complexity and low severity. This manipulation can allow for compromised card management operations during enrolment.
CVE-2024-0232 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sqlite | 4 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-09-02 | 4.7 Medium |
